2. Set cleaning rules
Formula protection adds an apostrophe to values beginning with =, +, − or @ (including negative numbers). Turn it off only when the receiving system needs the original values and you trust the file.
3. Review the result
Rows with the wrong number of columns are always excluded and reported. Other invalid values remain unless you selected exclusion. Exports never overwrite the original file.
